ARK: Survival Ascended's Scorched Earth Expansion Release Date Delayed to April 1st

Developers of the survival simulator ARK: Survival Ascended, which serves as a remake of ARK: Survival Evolved, have announced the postponement of the release date for the first expansion named "Scorched Earth." Fans will have to await its arrival for an additional month, as the update will not grace us in March 2024 as previously envisaged, but rather on the 1st of April 2024.

The primary highlight of Scorched Earth will be the introduction of a novel arid landscape. On this parched canvas, players can expect to encounter novel creatures, items, resources, structures, and a myriad of other novelties. It's worth noting that this expansion, along with all future ones, will be available free of charge. However, players with an inclination for the extraordinary can opt to acquire the premium Frontier Adventure pack, encompassing a collection of cosmetic items with a desert theme.

Nonetheless, the deferment of this expansion's release does not imply that players will be devoid of content until April. Come late February, ARK: Survival Ascended will witness the addition of "The Center," a player-crafted map. This map offers a diverse array of biomes for exploration and will be bundled with the Gigantoraptor in a complimentary update. Furthermore, on the 26th of January, a server transfer feature between official servers will make its debut.
