KEY GAME INFORMATION
OREGON: RB Royce Freeman is one of the best playmakers in the Pac-12, and QB Justin Herbert is a perfect fit for new head coach Willie Taggart's Gulf Coast Offense. The Ducks need a lot more from a defense that allowed more PPG than all but two FBS teams (Cal and Texas Tech) last season.
BOISE ST: QB Brett Rypien threw for 3,646 yards with 24 TD and only 8 INT last season. He's one of the best signal callers in the MWC, and he should only get better in Year 3. The offense is not the problem, though. This defense is returns just four starters, so it might struggle to get stops.
