| AKRON: Once again, the Zips are going to be a talented but fragile group. They return 15 starters, and one of those is QB Tommy Woodson. Woodson threw for 300+ yards in five of the seven full games he played in last year. If he and the rest of this roster stay healthy, Akron can be good. | | TROY: Troy had a top-25 D in 2016, and the team returns seven key starters from that unit. The Trojans should be relentless on that side of the ball
again, and the offense isn't too shabby either. QB Brandon Silvers can make all the throws, but the team does need to run the ball better. |
