| IOWA ST: Iowa State has been a Big 12 punching bag in recent years, but that should change soon. Head coach Matt Campbell is not far from turning this thing around. The Cyclones have some serious weapons on offense in WR Allen Lazard and RBs Mike Warren and David Montgomery. The team just needs QB Jacob Park to continue to progress. Iowa State also needs a lot more out of a defense that was miserable a year ago. | | KANSAS ST: QB Jesse Ertz was solid for the Wildcats a year ago, and he should be a lot better this season. His dual-threat ability makes it very hard for defenses to defend, as he is also joined in the backfield by the explosive Alex Barnes. But while the offense is impressive, this Kansas State defense certainly has question marks. The Wildcats lack big name playmakers, and they'll need a number of guys to step it up this season. |
