| NEW MEXICO: New Mexico allowed 32.4 PPG last season, which was the fifth-worst number in the MWC. With dual-threat QB Lamar Jordan and stud RB Tyrone Owens in the backfield, the Lobos won't have problems scoring. They can't, however, win games unless they start getting stops. | | TULSA: The Golden Hurricane have one of the conference's best offensive lines and RB D'Angelo Brewer knows exaclty how to use it. He rushed for 1,425 yards last year and should be even better this season. The team does, however, need somebody to step up and contribute at quarterback. |
